Students taking this course through IAPS are required to purchase the book "Essentials of Fire Fighting, 5th Edition." If you don't already own the book, you can purchase it here.

Test questions may or may not be covered in the following videos and reading the chapters in its entirety assures the student all test information will be covered.

After completing Fire Fighter II course as found on this website, students are encouraged and required to practice the skills learned at their local fire departments.

Completing courses on this website does not guarantee Pro-Board Certification. Students are encouraged to contact their local and/or state certification center to insure the completion of Fire Fighter II courses through IAPS in an acceptable pre-requisite for their final comprehensive certification exam.
